My wife and I have been long time collectors, customers, and admirers of Native American and Southwest inspired jewelry. One of our favorite things to do on our travels out west is to scour antique shops for vintage turquoise pendants and southwest trade beads. Over the years we’ve made several necklaces for our friends and family members as gifts. One of our hobbies as a couple is to sit at the kitchen table a few nights a week and build custom pieces from our collection of beads, pendants, and naturally crafted items.

We’ve decided to release these one-off pieces here on the website to our customers who have an appreciation for the same southwest aesthetic. Every piece is unique and made from items we collect in our travels or buy from traders who we encounter at different events, pow wows, and festivals.

The Folding Pocket Knife Pendant Necklace

This 26-inch unisex necklace is made from lava-stone beads, hand-crafted buffalo bone beads, copper spacer beads, tubular turquoise colored glass beads, and two red glass pony beads. The centerpiece is a fully functional 1-inch stainless mini pocket knife pendant with bone handle scales. We found this pendant in a Native American store located in Brown County, Indiana. The finding is a bronze closure.
