A good pair of leather gloves is essential when working (and playing) in the woods. These are rough-out cowhide leather with a nylon mesh liner that prevents hot spots. There is also a sewn keyhole in the corners of each glove to accept a carabiner so that these gloves can be attached to a belt or pack for quick and easy access.

While these gloves look great right out of the box, they will look and perform 100X better after you treat them with the included ThunderCrow Glove Wax. I tested over 15 different brands of wax on these gloves and wasn’t happy with any of them. Finally, I contacted Shankle Homestead Leatherworks who made a custom formulation that was just perfect. This wax will transform these leather gloves into the perfect work glove, and you won’t believe how easy it is to do. This is a MUST-DO step to make these gloves weather-proof. I’ve included a video below to show you exactly how to wax these gloves once you get them.
