Finally, a vest as tough as you need it to be. Designed to protect and insulate your core in the harshest of conditions, the Greylag Vest is wrapped in a thick heavy-weight duck canvas that ships untreated but readily accepts your favorite wax if so desired.

The vest is lined with a layer of quilted polyester insulation, which is moisture wicking and performs even when wet. It is also light weight and breathable, making this a 3-season vest.

Deep side pockets are designed to be stuffed with rain gear, kits, handfuls of dry tinder, or anything else you need close to your person. The two chest pockets are design for function as well. One holds your ferro rod, a pocket knife, and pen. The other fits virtually all styles of SmartPhones. There is a also a large interior stash pocket for extra storage that closes with velcro.

NOTE: if you plan on wearing the vest over heavy clothing then order the next size up.
