I've used a lot of Bug Out Bags over the past 20 years. This is the one I currently use (as you'll see in the webinar very soon). It's a fantastic pack for the price and what I really like about it is that it's not too big. I guess it's human nature but I tend to fill a Bug Out Bag, no matter how big it is, so I've decided to use a smaller pack than most would suspect. At around 2,280 cubic inches and with lots of Molle loops on the exterior, I've found that it's plenty big to carry the necessities. It also has a built in water bladder pouch, which is something I've incorporated into my Bug Out Water mix.
This pack has multiple zipper pouches, adjustable shoulder straps, chest strap and waist belt. It also has plenty of Molle attachment points as well. For example, I have a Molle water bottle holder and also Molle compatible multi-tool case fitted to the exterior of my pack.
This pack is imported and I've found the 600 denier heavy-weight fabric and stitching to be of superb quality. I've hiked many miles with this pack and have been very pleased with it's performance - and comfort (very important). It's a great entry level Bug Out Bag and also a great pack for someone with years of hiking experience. I've found it to be comfortable up to about 30-35 pounds and, quite frankly, there is no reason for your BOB to weigh more then this. BUT - we'll get into the details in the webinar.
